Causes and Prevention of Buckling Deformation of Circular Saw Blade in Hot and Cold Metal Cutting
Reasons for buckling deformation of metal cold and hot cutting saw blades: from the analysis of saw blade production and quality control, it may be that the heat treatment quality of the saw blade is not good, the flatness of the blade body is not good, and the state of dish shape or distortion is presented. The force of the saw blade during sawing will cause recovery deformation. It is also possible that the leveling quality control of each lane of the saw blade is not in place, and the flatness and the stress state does not meet the process requirements, when the saw blade is used, it is easy to cut the workpiece and increase its deformation. According to the analysis of saw blade usage, it may be that the feed guide rail of the saw blade is not perpendicular to the workpiece or the swing is large, and the accuracy of the saw clamp itself is too poor, resulting in frequent stress on the side of the saw blade during cutting. It is also possible that the saw blade is subjected to lateral impact caused by workpiece string movement and roller table movement during operation. The above two forces are cyclically acting on the side of the saw blade, reaching a certain strength, causing the saw blade to deform. From the analysis of sawing process, too fast sawing speed increases the radial force of the saw blade, and after exceeding the bearing capacity, it will produce lateral bending trend, increasing lateral force and deformation amplitude.
Prevention of buckling deformation of metal cold and hot cutting saw blades: First, the condition of the saw blade must be good and the performance index must meet the process requirements; Second, the accuracy of the saw itself should be adjusted to a qualified level. Third, the workpiece should be properly clamped to reduce string movement. Fourth, when manually controlling the action of the roller table, the roller table can be driven only after the saw blade is completely withdrawn, and the saw blade is not allowed to be hit as a fixed-length baffle. Fifth, the saw speed should be appropriate to avoid increasing the saw speed and increasing the saw blade load due to rush production.
