Technical Development and Standard Revision of Metal Eating Circular Saw Blade
Metal circular saws are widely used in steel rolling production of metallurgical enterprises as a fixed-length cutting tool for section steel to obtain section steel products with neat sections, especially for the production of large and medium-sized pipes, rods and profiles. Due to the low strength of steel at high temperature and easy sawing, metal hot sawing has always been the main sawing method for section steel production. Hot sawing is generally fast sawing steel above 750 ℃ in order to make full use of the rolling waste heat of the workpiece and meet the high productivity requirements of continuous production.
1. Technical development of metal cutting circular saw blade
Since the 1950 s, China's iron and steel enterprises mainly introduced the technology and equipment of the former Soviet Union, and mostly used Soviet-style equipment in metal hot sawing machines. Due to the simple structure of Soviet-style sawing machines, domestic hot sawing machines were basically modeled after these models before the 1980 s.
Since the 1980 s, with China's reform and opening up, steel production technology and equipment from developed countries such as Europe and the United States have been introduced into China, which has made China's metal hot sawing technology develop rapidly. After more than 20 years, the metal hot sawing machines of large domestic steel enterprises have been in line with international standards in terms of equipment conditions, application technology and saw blade matching, and the working state of metal hot sawing machines has been improved, to achieve a stable, efficient, high-quality work requirements.
2. Standard revision of metal hot-cutting circular saw blades
In 1985, the national professional standard ZBJ41001-85 was formulated, which made the metal cutting circular saw blade products have a unified production standard. In 1989, it was upgraded to the national standard GB11173-1989 and adjusted to the industry standard YB/T5223-1993 in 1993. In the process of changing each edition of the standard, the content of the standard is gradually enriched and perfected, which plays an important guiding role in the production and application of metal cutting circular saw blade products in China. Due to the 12 years from 1993 to 2004, the product standard of "metal cutting circular saw blade" has not been revised, and many contents can not meet the development requirements of metal cutting technology in recent years.
Since the 1990 s, China's iron and steel enterprises have introduced a lot of advanced steel rolling equipment from abroad, including a number of advanced metal circular sawing machines. The sawing efficiency of the new sawing machine and its applicability to many kinds of workpieces have been greatly improved, the sawing quality of steel has been significantly improved, and it can meet the sawing requirements of high-efficiency steel continuous rolling production line. At the same time, the requirements of the new saw blade have also been raised to a new level. In order to adapt to these developments, in 2004, organized by the Metallurgical Electromechanical Standardization Technical Committee, Tangshan Metallurgical Saw Blade Co., Ltd., Beijing University of Science and Technology, Beijing Metallurgical Equipment Research and Design Institute and other relevant units made a comprehensive and thorough revision of YB/T5223-1993 in terms of scope of application, saw blade specifications, saw blade materials, performance indicators, etc., and finally got YB/T5223-2005 currently in use.
